Youth Development Institute (YDI) is a private, not for profit, residential treatment facility for youth with severe emotional and behavior disorders. YDI provides care to a diverse population of youth and adolescents of various cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds. YDI is located in central Phoenix on a 9-acre facility consisting of the residential program and adjacent group homes.

All positions at Youth Development Institute are safety sensitive positions as defined in ARS § 23-439. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

YDI has open positions for a PRN RN to work evening shift from 6PM - 6AM. 1 year experience in behavioral health working with adolescents preferred. Duties include: medication administration, transcribing doctors’ orders, screening youth for illness or medical treatment, record keeping, infection control, lab monitoring, track effectiveness of medication, working with psychiatric and medical doctors, psychiatric and medical assessments, administering immunizations and TB tests.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

Bi-lingual, Spanish, a plus; must possess or be able to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card through AZ DPS, and maintain CPR certification.

Active license to work in Arizona. Behavioral health experience
