Job Description


As a Risk & Compliance specialist at 3E, you’ll be part of a small team performing various Information Security and privacy related responsibilities. This is a great opportunity for an individual that wants to be part of the team that builds out the overall global privacy and compliance program as 3E continues to grow. This position reports directly to our General Counsel and can be based in any of our U.S. office locations. We are open to hiring remotely for the right candidate.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees implementation and governance of 3E’s compliance program and seeks continuous improvement of program to ensure enforcement throughout the company’s international operations
  • Designs and deploys compliance training communication and programs suitable for designated countries and/or targeted teams/leaders
  • Identifies areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops and implements risk mitigation programs and processes in areas such as privacy, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-competition, anti-money laundering and economic sanctions, whistleblowing
  • Maintains accurate and timely records, and risk /compliance systems to support operation of relevant activities
  • Collaborates with global project teams to implement initiatives
  • Provides guidance, advice and coordinates with local functions and teams to monitor performance of compliance program
  • Assists in the completion of Vendor risk assessment requests from clients, as well as vendor risk assessments for 3E’s vendors

Qualifications


Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Information Security, Privacy, Risk Management, or related field. Preferably as an attorney with law firm and/or in-house experience
  • Experience in privacy laws, access, release of information and data breach notification laws
  • Experience in writing policies and guidance documents supporting business activities and investigations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Law degree from accredited law school
  • Strong integrity and ethical values, ability to uphold them under pressure
  • Clear communicator with analytical/interpersonal skills; manages conflicts in constructive manner; detail oriented.
  • Experience in implementation of risk & compliance programs
