JOB SUMMARY:
The Onboarding Specialist ensures that all applicants have successfully completed the pre-employment onboarding process; resulting in the issuance of an employee EID (employee id number). Also responsible for ensuring that internal transfers complete the onboarding requirements for successfully transferring to a new position and/or location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Handles incoming calls relating to the onboarding process
• Initiates and makes outbound calls to applicants relating to onboarding process and/or documents received
• Process and quality check employment eligibility verification through Form I-9 and/or E-verify and file accordingly
• Verify applicant successfully completed the pre-employment drug screen; follows up with the applicant as needed
• Verify applicant successfully completed the pre-employment background check; follows up with applicant as needed.
• Process completed applicant(s) within system requirements
• Process and verify applicant successfully is associated through vendor agencies
• Process non-completed/disqualified applicant(s) within system requirements
• Follow up with applicant(s) to complete onboarding process
• Process and quality check received employment eligibility documents and required identification forms
• Set up personnel file, scan and drop accordingly to file.

REQUIREMENTS:
2 years experience in recruitment and onboarding. AA degree preferred. This position will require a valid California ID or Driver’s License. Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to background check, physical etc. If required to drive, candidate must possess proof of valid insurance and registration. Must be at least 21 years of age to drive for People's Care.
