Who are we? MERS Missouri Goodwill’s mission is “Changing lives through the power of work.” MERS Missouri Goodwill provides a variety of programs and services to help support this mission. Some of the many programs and services offered are career counseling, skills training, education and literacy programs, employment services, and more. MERS Goodwill is looking for a Retention Specialist to join us at our team. Retention Specialists travel to individual job sites to provide training and assistance to persons with disabilities to help them maintain competitive employment. Retention Specialists need to have excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills organization. This is a PT position, with ability to work 5-10 hours per week. There is a potential increase in hours due to more referrals and client needs. Visit with clients on-the-job in Northern Jefferson County and South County to provide ongoing training and communication with employer. Schedule will vary, according to client's work schedule. May meet with clients on weekdays, weekends, and/or evenings. May work hours as best matches client's work schedule. Write progress notes and accurate documentation of supports, with at least 80% as time directly supporting clients.
