Position Summary.What you'll do.EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Owns ELOQUII’s email channel end-to-end: Lead point person for all things email. Email is one of ELOQUII’s most important marketing channels generating ~30% of ELOQUII’s revenue. It is a key channel that drives topline and customer lifetime value.
- Role works cross-functionally across all levels of the organization with merchandising, planning, graphic creatives, copywriters, design and marketing teams-to plan and execute email. As the day to day go-to on email, this role is the voice of authority on how best to optimize email to drive business.
- Manages email service provider(s) including vendor selection/evaluation and day to day vendor management. Manages email vendor budget.
- Devises and executes A/B and other tests to continually optimize email program. Leads analysis on email performance recommending and implementing action items, new tests, and any areas of opportunity for advanced segmenting.
- Manages setup and scheduling of all campaigns (inclusive of triggers) ~9-10 emails/week.
Owns ELOQUII’s SMS channel end-to-end:
- Lead point person for all things SMS. SMS is ~10 of ELOQUII’s revenue and a key retention channel.
- Role works cross-functionally across all levels of the organization to plan and execute SMS. Is the voice of authority on how best to leverage SMS to drive business.
- Manages SMS service provider across vendor selection/evaluation, implementation & any issues that may arise, day to day vendor management, and budget.
- Devises and executes A/B and other tests to continually optimize SMS program. Leads analysis on SMS performance recommending and implementing action items, new tests, and any areas of opportunity for segmenting
- Manages setup and scheduling of all campaigns (inclusive of triggers) ~2-4 SMS/week
Supports retention marketing:
- Manages editorial calendar of owned channel placement across email, SMS and app push messages in support of business goals. Owns campaign set up and reporting
- Creates daily dashboard and weekly / monthly reports on retention marketing performance with key findings and implications
Is a brand steward for retention marketing creative ensuring the look/feel and tone/voice is on brand. Manages copywriter and also writes email, SMS, and app copy on an ongoing basis.
Work closely with our Director of Retention Strategy and Digital Consumer Product to analyze existing customer behavior, looking for areas of opportunity and executing campaigns to reengage these customers.
Takes on stretch projects within acquisition, brand marketing, and cross-functionally.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar field or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of business experience; a prior job in marketing or ecommerce supporting performance marketing is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skill set and ability to work with data a must.
- Interest in data-driven marketing a must.
- The ability to effectively manage timelines and coordinate internal and external teams to deliver results.
- Superb communication skills and ability to create strong relationships across functions and geographies.
- Quick-thinking, creative, hands-on, stress-tolerant, problem-solver. Start-up experience is a bonus!
- Proficient in Excel and Google Analytics
