Core Duties and Responsibilities: **
- Assists and educates customers on Life Extension’s unique, cutting-edge formulas and answers health related questions
- Thoroughly reads all Life Extension literature to ensure product knowledge is up to date; achieve an 80% or better on monthly magazines quiz
- Operates cash register
- Performs cycle counts as needed
- Retrieves products and prepares for mail order shipments; replenishes shelves with inventory, block and face store shelves
- Answers incoming and inter-departmental phone calls
- Receives and process customer returns
- Participates in annual physical store inventory
- Performs opening/closing duties as directed according to SOPs and checklists
- Shares ideas, information and experiences that will benefit the Nutrition Center and/or company
- Displays flexibility within the department; willing to make necessary schedule changes based on departmental needs
- Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
- Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements: **
- Intermediate knowledge of vitamins and dietary supplements required; 1+ years of experience in retail environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Alternative Medicine or related field preferred
- Strong customer service mentality
- Ability to stand up to 95% of the time; ability to lift 10 pounds; must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and reach overhead on a regular basis
