Please Note: Excellent customer service skills are a must! Full time employees work 30-40 hrs per week. Part-time positions usually work 25 to 29 hours. Please tell us about your availability! (We can be flexible if you can be consistent.) Ability to work evenings and weekends is preferred.

Our Retail Centers are open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sundays.

Pay: $13.50 Hr. Full Time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, floating holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave.

Part Time employees in are eligible for paid holidays, floating holidays, sick leave, jury duty and bereavement leave. Part time employees can also make pre-tax contributions to a retirement plan and some part time employees who work enough hours in a year may become eligible for employer contributions to their retirement.

OBJECTIVE:

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers in a welcoming manner and responding timely and professionally to customer inquiries. Sales Associates must help maintain a well-stocked and organized sales floor that meets company standards and be able to operate a point-of-sale cash register system to ensure quality of product and pricing is accurate at the time of purchase.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • One-year retail sales or cash handling experience desired.
  • Must be accurate with numbers and general calculations and have an understanding of the value of different coins and US currency.
  • Must be able to use basic math such as adding, subtracting, and multiplication.
  • Must be able to operate a computer-based cash register and credit card machine.
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, bending and lifting up to eight (8) hours per day.
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays with occasional overtime as necessary.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, managers, supervisors, staff and peers.


KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

  • Provide excellent Customer Service upholding company values.
  • Provide assistance to customers with questions, concerns, and purchases.
  • Provide accurate cashier transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer using a computer-based point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor by regularly cleaning and organizing shelves and racks, picking items up off the floor, putting away carts or baskets, putting away returned or unwanted items and cleaning fitting rooms.
  • Provide a safe, organized, and well stocked sales floor to include the fitting rooms and coffee bar areas.
  • Cross-train in other departments or areas; act as a back-up for other areas as required.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
