Retail Planning Analyst I

This position provides an exceptional opportunity to work in a team environment focused on growing Direct to Consumer sales.

This role is responsible for developing, managing and executing analytical, tactical and operational sales insights and for providing all-over business support and driving top line sales and profitability. Effective execution and communication skills with an aptitude for data mining and reporting, key functional areas include retail planning, sales analytics, account inventory control, and management information systems. This position supports the consistent implementation of training initiatives and documentation of policy and procedural manuals.
- Support the field leadership Regional Managers to drive results in our Outlet Stores. Results are measured in terms of operational efficiencies and P&L Impact.
- Aids in the organization and management of projects and deadlines.
- Regularly reviews and evaluates in-store tools and processes to ensure the teams can meet customer demand and sales trends. Recommend changes to processes to meet customer challenges. Anticipates opportunities / risks and recommended actions to respond.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with broader cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and Field Supporting functions) to drive operational improvements that create growth in the Retail Outlets P&L.
- Develops and maintains a strong working knowledge of in-store systems and functions.
- Remains effective in a changing environment and manages change. Adjusts priorities to meet goals and commitments, ensures continued alignment across the business process, and responds effectively to constantly changing demands.
- Communicate and align business strategies.
- Establish ongoing routines to ensure operational priorities and procedural changes are communicated, understood, and executed consistently.
- Exhibit an in-depth knowledge of managing multiple data sources and provide business insight based on analysis and communication of sales, inventory, productivity, service level reporting, sell-thru and other key financial metrics.
- On occasion, may be required to provide data support to develop, present, implement and monitor joint business plans, with specific focus on sales and inventory management.
- Will occasionally assist management in identifying business-building opportunities, sales trends, micro and macro-marketing opportunities, etc.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.- 1-3 years of sales support and analysis experience.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in management of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational, oral and written
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with effective outside-the-box thinking.
- Results oriented.
- Advanced skills in Excel and Access.
- Experience with SAS/SAP preferred.
