Job Details:

• Pay Rate: $22 per hour.
• Status: Full Time Permanent.
• Shift: Monday through Friday.
• 7:30pm - 4pm (NO WEEKENDS!)
• Overtime: (as needed).

• Operates Cash registers and follows established cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Ability/willingness to learn is a must-have!
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of products is preferred (plumbing supplies).
• Uses experience and knowledge to build customer relationships and drive sales.
• Provides assistance to customers both in the store and via phone, including but not limited to, answering questions, checking inventory, price verifications, exchanges and returns, and special orders
• Provide honest and trustworthy advice to customers regarding the best products that fit the customer’s expectations/needs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., or up to 100 lbs. occasionally with team lift or equipment.
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up.
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc).
• Ability to learn and use Ferguson’s inventory and logistics system “Trilogie” (will train).
• Ability/willingness to learn how to operate manual and motorized lift equipment: hand truck, pallet jack, stock picker, etc. (will train).
• Additional related duties may be assigned as needed.
