As a Retail Construction Project Manager with American Display and Fixture (ADF) you will play an intricate role in assuring major retailers are receiving the displays and fixtures they need in order to successfully open their new stores and refurbished stores.
Responsibilities:
- Review prints, plans and historical data to assure all items needed are documented and scheduled so that critical construction and install dates are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams as well as retailer contacts to assure everyone is up to date on timelines, shipments, and delivery schedules.
- Assure all project details are captured and disseminated in a timely manner.
- Communicate changes and their requirements to all impacted stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Reconcile project tracking and resolve issues/escalates appropriately (internally and externally).
- Interface with production, suppliers, sales personnel, and customers to provide project status reports and ensure customer needs are met.
- Assure materials are ordered in a timely manner and scheduled to arrive at the appropriate location at the appropriate time (not too early, and certainly not late.)
- Confer with operations to obtain technical advice and resolve challenges in an efficient manner.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Retail Construction Project Management.
- Ability to multi task effectively in a fast paced, deadline driven environment as well as a strong focus toward attention to detail and accuracy.
- Above average proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
- Ability to learn how to effectively use databases systems such as ERP.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have a service-oriented mindset.
