Job Description:
At Regions, the Retail Branch Operations Analyst identifies, measures, monitors and mitigates branch operational risk via data analytics. Analyzes branch processes and makes recommendations to maximize operational efficiency and quality, and ensure adherence to compliance standards, in partnership with various geography and support unit peers.

Primary Responsibilities
Conducts ongoing assessments of branch exposures, identified risks, and security procedures via robust reporting capabilities, evaluating their potential impact and reviewing the strengths and weakness of existing controls
Analyzes and interpret a broad range of data sources to identify anomalies, trends and opportunities for an assigned branch group, and then make appropriate recommendations for improved risk mitigation
Collaborates with branches and District leadership to resolve complex operational and service issues
Serves as liaison to various peer support units and business group partners, to offer process and research expertise with regard to branch processes
Works under limited supervision to analyze and solve complex operational, systems-related, and/or customer issues
Serves in a back-up capacity to Supervisor, with regard to schedule maintenance, holding meetings, communicating information to team, coaching other CMG analysts
May manage small projects requiring some coordination and/or contribute to task forces or project teams
Provides guidance to CMG team as needed
Assists in development of departmental processes and procedures
Establishes and maintains quality and performance standards
Determines the effectiveness of new process and recommending improvements
May assist interviewing candidates for open CMG positions

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Seven (7) years of branch operational experience

Preferences
Two (2) years leading/managing a team

Ability to multi-task; able to prioritize and work accurately, flexibly and efficiently under pressure
Able to work equally well on self-managed or team-oriented projects
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple business groups across skillsets
Detailed and thorough
Excellent communication skills – must be able to translate complex issues to multiple levels in the organization
Excellent organization and time management skills
Fully proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
Knowledgeable of branch processes, policies, and procedures
Proactive and adaptable
Problem solving and investigative skills
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
