Position Summary:
This position is cross trained to serve in the capacity of teller, customer service representative, and loan support. The overall purpose of this position is to provide superior and efficient customer service to all customers in order to deepen and strengthen relationships.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent is preferred.
- One to three years related banking experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal communication and interaction skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret banking information.
- Strong computer literacy and open to learning new applications.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide back-up, full-service teller transaction processing in ordinance with company policy and standards.
- Know the bank’s loan, deposit, and other product/service offerings and be able to effectively explain them to current and potential customers.
- Provide timely, helpful, and accurate responses to customer requests and complaints.
- Open new deposit accounts and grow existing relationships as directed.
- Assist assigned lender(s) in developing relationships, selling products, and managing assigned portfolio.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as needed.
- Comply with all laws and banking regulations, as applicable.
- Other duties as assigned.
