    A typical day includes:


  • Providing specialized multi-surface floor cleaning, window and wall washing to campus customers.
  • Transporting specialized equipment to job sites driving a trailer.
  • Using capital equipment to provide carpet extraction and restorative cleaning services.
  • Providing immediate clean-up and restoration from floods, fires, and bodily fluid spills which may include travel between facilities.
  • Assisting in training other crew members.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    3-4 years experience in restorative cleaning.
    Must possess excellent hand/eye coordination and good balance.
    Must be able to climb and work from ladders, work with arms extended above head for significant periods of time.
    Must be able to operate powered and manual hand tools.
    Must be able to lift and carry loads weighing up to 50 pounds.
    Must possess a broad knowledge of cleaning chemicals, cleaning techniques, and custodial equipment operation.
    Valid drivers license.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    High School diploma or equivalent. Proficiency using truck mounted and portable carpet extractors.
    Proficient computer skills.
    Housekeeping, carpet extraction, hard surface floor care and window cleaning experience.
