Job Description
The Restaurant Supervisor assist the restaurant management team in restaurant and banquet operations. They provide management presence while operating as an active member of the restaurant team.
Help train, coach, and mentor restaurant and bar staff
Create daily reports on covers and other nightly operational information
Supervise restaurant employees during service and support them by bussing and food running as needed
Communicate with staff regarding specials, banquets, and expectations
Supervise opening and closing side work
Coordinate with other departments to explore new business opportunities and plans
Meet with Restaurant Manager to coordinate progress on given projects and to determine future assignments
Help plan, set up, and run catering, holiday, wedding, and banquet events as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1 years of F&B management experience preferred
1 years of hotel industry experience preferred
Knowledge of food and cooking methods and wine preferred

Given: Exercises direct supervision over restaurant and bar staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, frequent and detailed review of work, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
