Position Title: Electrician *Work with the installation team to meet the weekly installation timeline *Ensure correct tools are available for the job *Conduct site audit and submit information for engineered drawings to be completed, as needed *Review plans to ensure that the proper materials are procured *Work with the team to assemble solar arrays, as needed *Complete electrical work for solar installations *Work with a team of electricians to complete main panel upgrades and solar battery installations *Comply with all NEC and AHJ requirements for electrical work *Be a company expert regarding specific county and city code *Attend inspections with local jurisdiction inspectors, as needed *Replace faulty equipment at customer sites and perform troubleshooting *Provide expert technical support over the phone when needed and answer customer inquiries regarding system troubleshooting *Maintain and share thorough documentation on work performed *Ensure solar system operation and safety *Trench for conduit, concrete work, and equipment assembly, as needed *Complete project clean up, including customer site and installation vehicle *Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor *Clean dirty equipment immediately after use *Load, unload, and receive material, as necessary *Other duties as assigned *Licensed Colorado Residential Wireman or Journeyman in good standing *NABCEP Certification, preferred, but not required *Valid driver license *Extensive knowledge of National, State, and Local code *Experience with solar photovoltaic installations, preferred *Excellent problem solving skills *Positive team spirit *Flexible attitude regarding change, delays, or unexpected events *Exhibit sound and accurate judgment *Use time efficiently *Ability to work independently *Highest level of compliance with safety and security procedures *Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance) *Ability to work safely in a branch/warehouse/rooftop environment *Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, email, and Google Suite *Detail oriented *Ability to positively and interact with co-workers and participate in meetings *Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions in all seasons By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application. The candidate must be a licensed Residential Wireman or Journeyman in the state of Colorado. The individual will be comfortable working on roofs in a limited capacity, familiar with inverter connections and inspections, a team player, a strong communicator, and will be able to manage quality control and troubleshooting in the field. This position may require the employee to perform all, but not limited to, the tasks listed below. The Electrician will effectively and respectfully communicate with co-workers, customers, and inspectors. All Apollo Energy Representatives are expected to act with a friendly, customer service minded attitude.
