Research Support Specialist Details

Required Qualifications: (Evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher degree) in Psychology or related field by January 2022. Ability to demonstrate professional competence in research activities.
Preferred Qualifications:Research experience. Experience with scheduling or recruiting research participants by telephone. Experience conducting research interviews. Experience acquiring EEG data for research studies. Brief Description of Duties:
  • To assist in research examining how early temperament and other psychosocial and biological factors influence adolescents’ and young adults’ emotional and behavioral adjustment and functioning.
  • Scheduling
  • Running laboratory visits (EEG and behavioral tasks)
  • Conducting semi-structured interviews; participating in rating meetings
  • Managing data and performing other administrative tasks
  • Other duties or projects as assigned
Special Notes: FLSA Non Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation.
