We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Data Associate.
The research data associate (RDA) will assist in the coordination of federally-sponsored and privately-funded research on the mechanisms and treatment of acute and chronic pain. Specific tasks include oversight of research data, organization of regulatory documents and study-related documents (e.g. recruitment and retention plan, IRB protocol), and management of study databases. Tasks also include screening and enrolling participants, scheduling all study visits, conducting study protocol-related tasks, coordinating with study clinicians, and collecting study-related data from patients directly in the form of questionnaires (on the phone, web, in-person, or through Electronic Health Records). Additionally, the RDA will be responsible for coordinating subject reimbursement, tracking participant flow and enrollment to ensure study milestones are being achieved. Further tasks include assisting in preparing reports and required material to funding agencies, and drafting of manuscripts.
Some clinical competencies (EEG, EKG, phlebotomy) a plus.
To qualify you must have a Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in science, public health, health education or a related field. Prior experience in a health care settings and/or research level interviews
Prior patient education experience. Some clinical competencies (EEG, EKG, phlebotomy) a plus.
