Our mission is to discover means to improve the lives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. UCI MIND is committed to community education with the goals of keeping the community informed of our progress, sharing learnings that can help community members reduce their risk for dementia. Incumbent will work in the Clinic Aging Research and Education within UCIMIND on research projects associated with The 90+ Study, a NIH-NIA funded longitudinal study on aging dementia. Follows directions from Supervisor, works on research data reporting assignments that are of moderate diversity in scope. Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Compensation Range: 30.84/hr. - 54.69/hr. Department Website: https://www.mind.uci.edu/about/ Required: Previous or entry level job experience in data analyses. Master’s degree in statistics, biostatistics, computer science or related field. Working knowledge of research function-(SAS). Working skills in statistical analysis, systems programming, database design and data security measures. Ability to work independently on various projects and requests. Skills to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing. Basic understanding of relational database. Demonstrated skill in writing concise and understandable documentation of data analyses and results. Preferred: Experience in epidemiological research Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease / dementia. Expertise in other statistical programs such as R, STRATA, or SPSS. Knowledge of medical terminology. Working skills in managing large and complex data sets. Conditions of Employment:
