Dr. Van Hellerslia, Pharm D, Clinical Associate Professor, Temple University School of Pharmacy, and Assistant Professor, Department of Neurology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, along with the Viet-Capacity team, is seeking a part-time Vietnamese speaking research associate for an exciting education/capacity building study. This position is for one year and a half, the duration of the project. Essential Functions: Participate in the recruitment of study subjects; Responsible for the informed consent of study subjects; Adhere to an IRB approved protocol; Draft IRB amendments for submission, draft responses to IRB directives for correction action, simplicity in understanding to review board, lay persons, about the objectives of the research and obligations of research subjects for study participation; Along with REDCAP team, and under the direction of the PI and Project Manager, create and manage study database housing informed consents, demographic data, and surveys; Perform QA/QC of study data; Assist with coordination of the study launch education event; Perform site monitoring visits in communities across Philadelphia; Act as liaison for research subjects with the investigator team; Be knowledge source regarding study milestones and be able to identify delays in the study progression that will inhibit success. Convey these issues to the investigator team; Assist with study close out activities; Performs other related duties as assigned. Under moderate supervision, this person will assist with the daily activities of the study on a part-time basis within the scope of an approved IRB protocol.
