Overview: This position is expected to perform computer science research and collaborate with members of the Human-Computer Interaction Collective. This will involve working with postdocs, faculty, staff, and students on implementing research prototypes, contribute code that explore to social computing projects, help write research papers reporting results of experiments, and presenting the insights as needed. The research assistant will attend weekly meetings, daily standup meetings, and meet regularly with the PI and other collaborators.Responsibilities: Social computing systems research: coding software prototypes and production quality code in collaboration with the team’s partners, discussing and collaborating with students, postdocs, and other staff. Also, regularly presenting results of the project, and documenting the work done. Social computing study-based research: help with user studies’ logistics, syntheses of results, qualitative and quantitative analyses of data, help perform participant interviews when needed.Qualifications:
