We seek a Research Assistant (RA) to support studies on infection control, microbial genomics, and antibiotic resistance. The RA will report to Yonatan Grad, M.D., Ph.D. His research group is investigating how pathogens emerge and spread, and how antibitoic resistance is gained and lost, with efforts in detecting outbreaks in hospitals and communities and in the evolutionary forces drive bacterial phenotypes. To learn more, please feel free to check out the Grad Lab's website: https://sites.sph.harvard.edu/grad-lab/
PLEASE NOTE: This position has a term end date of December 31, 2021, with the possibility of extension.
PLEASE NOTE: Until our return to campus and full operational status, which is still to-be-determined, this interview process and position will take place in a modified manner – including virtual interviews, remote onboarding, and a combination of remote and on-site (on campus in Boston) lab work. During this time, the shifts are also likely to be irregular (potentially including weekends and off-hours) and may therefore require schedule flexibility.
