The Department of Revenue is recruiting for two Research Analyst 4 positions. We are looking for motivated individuals who are detail oriented to join our Operations and Policy within the Collections and Research divisions. These positions are headquartered in our Salem office, however, the successful candidates may be eligible for telework and work from home options. These are full-time , SEIU represented positions. This recruitment may be used to fill additional vacancies as they occur in Salem. NOTE: the first batch of applicants will be reviewed on August 17th . What's In It For You What You Will Be Doing As a Research Analyst 4, you will serve as project leader to plan, design, and implement major complex analytical and statistical projects relating to the agency's tax policy and debt operations. Perform complex research studies and present findings to various audiences both internally and externally to the Division Leadership team, the Agency Director and Agency executive leadership team, the Department of Administrative Services, the Governor’s Office, the Legislative Revenue Office, and the Legislative Fiscal Office. This position develops and analyzes quantitative and qualitative descriptive information and provides technical consultation regarding the effects of the agency's enforcement and administrative activities. The reports and technical expertise provided from these studies inform and guide State general fund revenue forecasts and DOR administrative actions. Below is a sampling of job duties. A Bachelor's Degree in any disciplines that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, and three years experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports.
