In this graduate intern position, you will be part of the Quality and Reliability team in Arizona focusing on automatic reject validation (ARV). In this position you will work as part of a global reject validation team supporting ARV on Client, SOC, and Server products for thermo-mechanical certification as part of package technology development. More specifically, you will own: automating data collection on a tester (HDMT), reviewing the ARV data on fallout from Thermal/mechanical qualification stresses, and recommending the disposition of the failures. (ie. to Fault Isolation / Failure analysis, to Product engineering, Design, etc.)

There may be various development projects such as: creating custom test programs, automating data collection on testers using Perl and Python for the next generation of Intel products, UI enhancements, and post processing scripts.


Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be actively pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study.
  • 3+ months of experience with:
    • Computer architecture.
    • VLSI design.
    • Fab process/Device physics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding principles of class sort test and design for test.
  • Knowledge experience with Python Perl SQL.
  • Experience with x86 microprocessors.
