Duties/Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Maintain adequate clerical/office supplies necessary for the day-to-day functions of the ASC.
- Must have complete understanding of patient registration, prep instructions, and HIPAA.
- Accepts co-payments and balances deposit daily.
- Assists with collection and processing data for studies/surveys.
- Assists with conducting staff in-services and maintaining policy/procedure manuals.
- Processes orders and maintains computerized purchase orders for all medical/clerical supplies.
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of a high school graduate.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently and as a team member.
- Possesses excellent communication skills for both telephone and face to face interactions.
- Possesses warm disposition with a willingness to help others.
- Possesses good insight and judgment.
- Visual and audio acuity, speak clearly and distinctly.
- Neat, clean, and particular about appearance.
- Must be flexible and able to adjust to a fast pace and unexpected change.
- Able to make good and sound decisions.
- Able to accept and implement new ideas and approaches.
- Be a self-starter and able to work for long periods of time productively without direct supervision.
- Good physical health required due to long periods of standing, walking and work required (possibly 10 hours a day). Good dexterity.
