Summary The Transfer Center RN is responsible for coordinating direct admissions and hospital transfers to and from community hospitals with the intent to transfer each patient to an appropriate Tenet hospital. The position works collaboratively to foster relationships with referring facilities, physicians, and hospital staffs in representation of Tenet Healthcare Mission and Values. Works closely through collaboration with clinical, medical staff and leadership teams to identify, trend, and report barriers to patient access and throughput. Required: Associates Degree in Nursing, or equivalent, from an accredited program Required: 4 years clinical experience in an acute care setting. Computer literacy in EMR's, Word Processing, and Excel spread sheets Required: Current Florida, or other compact state, Registered Nurse license #LI-DD1 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. Qualifications:
Education
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Preferred: RN experience in an ER/Trauma, Neurosciences and/or Cardiovascular setting. Demonstrated professional leadership skills that include problem resolution capabilities
Certifications
Preferred: BLS; Applicable professional certification i.e. CCRN, CEN, CNRN
