Registered Nurse (RN), Radiology Therapeutic - FT/Days (8hr) - (SAD003448)Description The Imaging / Radiation Services RN is responsible for the coordination of the nursing and patient education function in Imaging and Radiation Services. The Imaging RN will assist with all interventional procedures performed in Imaging Services as appropriate. The Radiation Oncology RN is responsible for the coordination of the nursing and patient education function for Radiation Oncology. The RN will function in accordance with established standard of nursing practice. Nursing competencies will be evaluated by Nursing Administration. The RN works closely with the department management in order to assure optimal patient care and quality services. Minimum of 3 years’ acute care hospital experience or equivalent. Experience as an interventional nurse in Imaging Services or equivalent preferred. Experience as a nurse in Medical Oncology or Radiation Oncology preferred. Education Current California RN license required Current ACLS required (not required for Radiation Oncology nursing) Current BCLS card required Radiation Therapy Certification from Oncology Nursing Society (OCN), preferred.
