About Us – Birthing Center

• Located on the first floor at Freeman Hospital West we offer private labor, delivery and recovery rooms with a variety of labor options for our patients
• As one of the busiest maternity centers in Missouri, we've earned the trust of moms-to-be because we provide family-centered care and individual attention in a warm, caring environment
• The Birthing Center consists of 9 labor suites, 2 triage rooms, 2 operating rooms, and 2 recovery bays
• We have highly skilled physician, midwife, and nursing teams with 24-hour in-house, dedicated anesthesia staff

Requirements
You’ll need a Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. Applicants must display standards of the Freeman Five-Star Promise which include Teamwork, Ownership, Compassion, Communication, and Professionalism. One year of nursing experience required, maternal preferred.
