Sunrise Facial and Oral Surgery - Melbourne, FL

Well-established and growing Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice looking for a PRN Registered Nurse. This is currently a part-time (25-30 hours/week) position that will be around a 6-9 month assignment. Dental background not necessary but a plus. Prior OR experience preferred but not required.

Duties include:

· IV initiation and maintenance

· Administration and documentation of anesthesia under doctor supervision and orders

· Pre/peri/post-operative care

· Obtaining accurate patient history

· Communication with other providers to coordinate patient care

· Inventory and maintenance of medications & medical supplies

· Surgical assist when necessary

Training will be provided.

Current FL RN license and BLS required. ACLS preferred but willing to provide. Must have excellent patient rapport, clinical judgment, communication skills and references.

This opening is a beginning at 25-30 hours per week position, located in both the Melbourne and Suntree offices until our Titusville location opens (Fall 2022) and then the position will be primarily located in Titusville with hours being up to 36 per week.
