Welcome To About the Job Position Summary: In this role, you will assume responsibility to lead our team in providing quality patient care. The PACU nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and experience in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating Post-Operative surgical patient care. Is responsible for monitoring patient's physiological status in the immediate post-op environment. Communicates with the surgeons and Anesthesiologists continuously, and as needed, about patient conditions receiving direction for patient management. Acts as a role model to staff members. Is able to effectively manage team work concept. Remains flexible in response to changes. Performs all other duties as assigned. Scheduled Hours Per diem, hours assigned as needed. Qualifications Education/Experience: Qualified candidates will be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a current Massachusetts Registered Nurse licenser. Critical Care experience required. Other requirements are BCLS,ACLS, & PALS.
