CarePoint Health is seeking a Part Time Registered Dietitian for our Bariatric Office in West Orange, NJ. Experience with Obesity and weight management a major plus. You must be mobile and willing to travel as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy integrated with the patient's medical goals.
• Evaluate, interpret, monitor, and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs of patients using established standards of care and practice guidelines.
• Identify and provide age-specific nutrition counseling to meet the cultural needs of the patients and their families.
• Create notes and keep proper charts of patient's visits and progress using EMR systems.
• Utilize clinical software programs to facilitate nutrition therapy (FFQ Nutritionist Pro, bioimpedance body composition test, resting metabolic rate test, etc.).
• Any other tasks and responsibilities the Employer deems appropriate and which is consistent with the Dietitian position within this office.
• Scheduling and attending meetings out of the office, if necessary.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree
• RD/RDN license/certificate Required
• Bilingual (Spanish), Preferred
• Fluent in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.
