Job Title: RBT
Summary/Objective:
The role of RBT job duties include, but are not limited to, working one on one with special and developmental needs children.
Essential Functions:
- Must pass LiveScan
- Must be computer literate, dependable, organized, very detail-oriented
- Must have flexible availability
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to drive a minimum of 30-45 miles from your location
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with all levels of staff, the general public and the people we support
- Ability to work in the home, school and clinical settings
- Must have good leadership skills
- Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus
- Must be self-motivated and possess high energy
- Ability to collect data, and document all important details of the client session
- Ability to follow a treatment plan that has been developed by the BCBA /clinical team.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure therapeutic recommendations are incorporated into the client’s program.
- Attend monthly mandatory training.
Required Education and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent, AA degree (or must be in progress)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field is experience a plus
- Valid Drivers' license and car insurance (driving is required)
- CPR/first aid training

- Work independently with strong and proactive follow-through
- Adjusts well to a fast paced, demanding work environment where priorities frequently change
- Proven ability to handle confidential information, trustworthy and have discretion
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills both in person and over email
- Excellent time management skills, punctual.

- Comfortable with working independently
- Poised under pressure and flexible to adapt to last-minute changes in schedule
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, and remain professional under pressure and with limited supervision is required to succeed

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Typical hours 25-40 hrs/week, generally working a five-day workweek Monday-Friday 8:00a - 8:00p, some weekends as necessary
Travel: Yes, travel to and from client residences for appointments.
