GMG EnviroSafe provides EPA and OSHA compliance expertise and personal support to the automotive repair industry across the country. The Regional Sales Representative of GMG EnviroSafe is responsible for prospecting new business opportunities for a geographic territory, converting them into new accounts, and then transitioning the accounts to our operational support staff.
Essential Functions
- Canvas defined geographic territory for auto dealerships and automotive repair businesses
- Research and prospect companies to generate leads, schedule in-person presentations, and win new customers
- Plan and manage a sales territory by executing upon an existing sales strategy
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure sales targets are consistently and sustainably met
- Collaborate with Operations, Customer Support, and Research to help make our customers successful
- Establish relationships with vendors, distributors, and trade associations within the automotive repair industry to conduct joint sales calls and conduct learning seminars for target prospects
- Record sales activities and prospect status into a CRM
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Hunter
- Four-year university/college degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong preference for sales to automotive dealerships
- Successful history of closing business with a demonstrated ability to accurately forecast sales results
- Excellent customer relations that include strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and an ability to organize and present compelling sales presentations to one or more individuals
- Ability to work from home office: laptop computer, high-speed internet connection, and autonomous time management
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time ranging from local to week-long out-of-state trips
Compensation
- Base salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 annually
- PLUS: uncapped commission and quarterly bonus tied to generated sales.
