Regional Manager

The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing operations and results for the region. Leading store teams, creating strategies, and developing talent. Support the team to succeed on all measures - including business performance, customer satisfaction, associate development, and flawless execution of the retail operations and brand standards.
What you’ll do:
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees (Regional Managers, Store Managers, receptionists, dispensing opticians, optometrists, optometric assistants, Lab personnel, corporate personnel, and managers), customers, vendors and local area optometrists and ophthalmologists. Establish and maintain an effective network within the local business community.
- Project a positive attitude toward all company objectives and directives; always demonstrate teamwork, including conducting regular staff meetings and participating in training or other company functions as required.
Leadership responsibilities
- Provides daily supervision of store managers and personnel to meet district sales plan and operating profits
- Ensure assigned stores comply with all company security, personnel and optical policies and procedures
- Ensure assigned stores manage in-store marketing; maintain proper inventory levels and merchandise displays, complete required reports
- Periodically audit store results to ensure compliance.
- Generate district business reports as needed
- Communicate Home Office/Corporate memos to Stores; ensure needs of Store are communicated to Home Office/Corporate
- Ensure all employees meet customer satisfaction goals; ensure customer concerns and complaints are effectively resolved
- Ensure stores in district meet assigned sales, payroll, accounts receivables, re-do’s cost of goods, P&L objectives

- Foster Teamwork and maintain a positive working relationship with your co-workers, supervisors, and optometry practice that supports and contributes to exam growth, high capture rate, and delivering sales goals
- Coach, develop and train associates in all aspects of job function including delivering sales and key indicator goals, optical knowledge and low redo percentage, high customer service standards including positive consumer reviews and customer praise
- Recruit and Interview: Ability to recruit and hire top talent to For Eyes. Actively recruit and networks to build a bench of talented candidates for stores
- Lead compliance to ensure that store complies with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements like but not limited to privacy, discrimination, safety, and labor. Report and correct non-compliance observations and concerns accurately and promptly
- Prompt and accurate communication response to complaints, inquiries, and incidents regarding service, safety, and security.
- Maintain registration with the State Board of Opticians as a licensed/registered optician (Where required)
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing tasks and responsibilities for yourself and your team in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
