Monitors all clinical activities related to policy and procedures, regulatory standards (i.e. The Joint Commission) (“TJC”, UHMS, etc.), supports process to obtain TJC certification and hospital accreditations, new center implementation, and the education and training of wound center clinicians and staff. Provides clinical support and identifies clinical improvement needs once the wound center is up and running. Follows accepted standards of practice through the use of evidence-based medical principles and deploys those identified “Best Practices” to RestorixHealth’s (RXH) wound centers. Detailed Qualities and Responsibilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building
  • Demonstrates a history of the process to drive clinical excellence through the RXH Clinical
  • Pathways (“Pathways”)
  • Trains and educates RXH nurses and panel physicians in the use of the Clinical Pathways
  • Trains, mentors and coaches center staff and physicians to ensure their respective adherence to RXH wound center standard operating procedures
  • Focuses on clinical details and driving outstanding clinical performance
  • Periodic documentation /Performance Improvement (PI) plan review of assigned centers utilizing PI and assess centers for completion of action plan
  • Must be able to address deficiencies with appropriate personnel on site, provide detailed deficiency list for corrective action and assess centers for completion of plan provided
  • Assist in preparation of audits and appeals, as requested
  • Masters all EMR databases and supports initial and ongoing training to the user community
  • Audits individual centers to ensure compliance with RXH policies and procedures as well as
  • TJC requirements In collaboration with the RXH Regional Directors/Revenue Cycle, implements remedial action plans at a center when and if necessary
  • Dedicated patient advocate
  • Comfortable speaking to groups of clinicians and administrative personnel
Education and Technical Skills:
  • 5 -8 years experience in a wound environment
  • BSN required. MSN preferred
  • WCC or WOCN preferred
  • Requires a current, active RN license and a current driver’s license
  • 5-plus years experience in a dynamic environment that places a premium on critical thinking
  • 5 years of clinical management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
