As a Recruitment Specialist , you play an integral role in the recruiting efforts for Fugro USA/Canada organizations. Acting as a talent adviser, this role will develop relationships with hiring managers across multiple business units, be proactive in the recruiting process and anticipate position and talent needs.

The Americas region is transforming and setting ambitious plans to take our business to a new level. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager for North America, this role will support Fugro Business lines in meeting hiring needs for Offshore and Land Projects, Corporate roles, Internships, and Staff needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with hiring managers to develop and execute recruiting plans for a specific area(s); conduct regular follow up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

  • Establish and continuously develop networks through industry contacts, university relations, association memberships, trade groups, and military affiliations, among other sources, to maximize recruitment resources and opportunities for the Company.

  • Develop candidate pipelines for positions with higher turnover rates and for positions for which there is an anticipated need.

  • Conduct telephone interviews with qualified candidates to assess fit and skill set.

  • Coordinate and schedule on-site interviews for candidates to meet with hiring managers; reserve appropriate meeting spaces, provide timely instructions, and ensure that both the hiring manager and the candidate are fully informed.

  • Identify, propose, develop and/or implement new talent-attracting initiatives.

  • Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates.

  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.

  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company, client, and position.

  • Be able to travel as required, both domestically and internationally.

  • Work with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, identify, and resolve problems.

  • Complete all assigned work in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner demonstrating a sound understanding of areas of responsibility.

Job Requirements:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline preferred, not required.

  • 5+ years of progressive technical, engineering, military, and corporate recruiting experience or applicable transferable skills.

  • Experience in recruiting Geosciences, Surveying, Offshore, or related roles is a plus.

  • Experience developing military/veteran sourcing pipelines is strongly desired.

  • Experience with Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools is a plus.

  • Experience utilizing internet search techniques (i.e. Boolean, Flip, XRAY).

  • Possession of industry-related certifications (i.e. PHR, SHRM, CDR, CIR) is desired.

  • Strong customer service skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results while working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.

  • Effective organization skills with the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of applicant tracking systems (ATS).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bilingual is a plus.
