City Furniture is looking for full-time Receiving Associates to unload products and verify orders to confirm accuracy of product received. Receiving Associates must be able to lift 75+ pounds and unload product utilizing proper equipment and material-handling techniques to minimize damages.

Job Requirements
- Previous warehouse/distribution center experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of barcoding and computerized inventory systems
- Heavy lifting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays)
A Typical Day:
- Unload product utilizing proper equipment and material-handling techniques to minimize damages
- Attaches labels to product; verifies SKU’s and product information to ensure bar code accuracy and reduce inventory variances; prints additional labels if necessary
- Verifies purchase orders to confirm accuracy of product received
- Examines product for damages; notifies Supervisors of damaged product; documents reasons for damages; returns product to appropriate location in the warehouse for repairs if necessary
- Clean trailers and containers; maintains cleanliness/organization of work area and warehouse
- Completes reports and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Works well with associates from other departments
- Assists with on-the-job training for new associates
- Completes other duties as assigned
