We are looking for a full-time real estate Bookkeeper to join our expanding team! You’ll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Facilitate all incoming payments and outgoing checks, including printing, obtaining signatures for, and distributing checks as necessary
• Enter financial data into computer software, making sure all bills and invoices are filed correctly
• Publish financial statements in time
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements

• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Assist other bookkeepers with other accounting duties as needed

Skills

• Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks
• Experience in property management software, such as Appfolio, Buildium, & Landlord Studio
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must
• Professionalism and organization skills
• Associates degree or at least one year of experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
