Monday – Friday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Purpose:

The Radiologist Hotline team member is responsible for communicating critical results to our referring physicians. This position will be working closely with the radiologists, site managers, referring physicians, and the physician relations team. The Radiologist Hotline team member must be organized, able to work independently as well with a team and have excellent communication skills. They must also feel comfortable speaking to physicians and other staff members. The primary focus of this position will be to take inbound calls.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure communication of stats and critical findings to referring provider within the time allotted by Simonmed

• Ability to communicate effectively with radiologists and other staff

• Document all outcomes appropriately so that all staff understands

• Report any issues that arise or could arise to upper management based on feedback from referring providers or SimonMed staff

Skills:

• Exceptional communication, both written and verbal

• Able to maintain confidentiality and regulatory compliance

• Must be proficient in computer skills and telephone etiquette

Prior experience in medical field or call center environment preferred.
