Responsibilities: Operates various radiographic/computer equipment and produces radiographs of designated areas of human anatomy on patients of all ages. Accepts assignments to various locations within the Medical Group including any Medical Group facility.Qualifications: Minimum Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Program. Three to six months’ on-the-job experience preferred.
Required Certification/Registration: New York State License required and registry A.R.R.T. required.
Physical Requirements: Stands and walks most of the day. Positions, lifts, or assists in lifting patients on and off x-ray table. Pushes equipment weighing in excess of 100 pounds less than 50% of time. Requires visual effort and reaching to adjust controls and evaluates images most of the day.
