has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Learning and Development Coordinator based in the United States.

Leads the Quality organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation and evaluation of its outcomes. Analyzes and identifies training and developmental needs and drives suitable training initiatives that builds expertise and a quality culture within Quality and across Corteva to successfully train and develop its people. Monitors and reports the effectiveness of learning and development efforts. Utilizes new learning techniques and tools from within and outside the organization to develop new training and enhancement of existing programs.

Leads the development and implementation of the learning strategies and programs with the intention to enable employees to advance their talents and skills at all levels within the Quality organization and builds a culture of quality across Corteva. Responsible for implementing and ensuring Quality training systems, policies, and learning management tools are effective in maintaining and tracking organizational training.

This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home. If hired, you may be required to travel as necessary to support business activities.

  • Leads the development and execution of the Quality learning strategy that includes the implementation of programs to meet specific learning and development, and the proficiency needs of the organization.
  • Deliver an effective learning program to ensure Quality employees develop their technical skills and knowledge to perform their daily tasks.
  • Plan for, and execute learning and development programs within Quality teams and across Corteva.
  • Implement and oversee the Quality learning program using various learning methods and technology that enhances employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work.
  • Draw on internal expertise and external vendors and consultants to design and deploy a wide variety of training methods.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of leading-edge training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Conduct skills gap analysis to evaluate organizational development needs to identify current and future training needs to help employees make the most of their learning opportunities.
  • Implement methods to measure learning effectiveness.
  • Assess, prioritize, and implement the most current effective learning and development methods.
  • Accountable for approving new curricula and courses.
  • Ensures metrics are in place, monitored and reported to the organization.
  • Evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and return on investment.

  • Ensures Accountability: Takes clear ownership of the design and effective implementation of the Quality learning program for Corteva. Uses key indicators, processes, and management systems to monitor the organization’s learning performance.

Qualifications
Requirements:

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Human Resources or Education, or related field preferred.
  • Delivering results through strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Certification in training (e.g. Certified Technical Trainer or similar), is a plus.
  • Change management experience.
  • Experience as a Learning and Development Manager or Training Manager, preferred.
  • Experience developing and leading training/learning efforts with direct experience in program facilitation and instructional design, preferred.
  • Experience in digital content management, preferred.
  • Experience in administration of training curriculums, preferred.
  • Experience with Learning Information Systems administration, and relevant course authoring tools, preferred.
  • Experience in business, leadership, human resources, and/or education, preferred.
Skills:

  • Effective communicator both written and verbal, with experience presenting to small and large groups, including cross-functional interactions.
  • Ability to apply technology to design modern training methods.
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferred.
