Prestige Stamping - Warren, MI

Employment Type : Full-Time

The QC Inspector is responsible for assuring the quality of the parts produced from initial inspection through shipping. Shift is 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Sunday - Thursday. Rotating weekend work/OT required. Doubletime on Saturday night.Duties:- Outside processing inspection

  • Sectioning and preparation of mounted samples
  • Sign off of hopper tags for further processing or packaging
  • Set up and run sorting machines and visual sorting techniques
  • Audit package parts prior to shipping
  • Audit hoppers prior to/while packaging
  • Assist floor inspector when needed
  • Assist production in problem solving
  • File paperwork, inspection sheets, certifications, etc
  • Report any non-conformace

You should be proficient in:

  • Production Setups
  • Forklift Licensed
  • Operations Analysis
  • Quality Control Data Analysis

Machines & technologies you'll use:

  • Calipers
  • Measurement Gauges

Salary info:

$16 - $18 / hr
