QUALITY COORDINATOR
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Collect, analyze, implement, and communicate improvement opportunities at the RDC through Brand feedback and internal opportunities.
- Develop method to collect and organize brand feedback
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities based on brand feedback and internal deficiencies
- Collect, organize, and analyze feedback data
- Communicate trends to Leadership Teams
- Coordinate investigation activities with applicable parties (internal, external, support teams)
- Makes recommendations on potential training opportunities and process improvements
- Assist with the Corrective Action/Preventive Action program
- Create, conduct, and maintain product and process auditing program
- Create quality criteria for all functional areas
- Perform product and process audits across functional areas of the RDC to ensure compliance
- Collect and analyze trends (scorecard)
- Address trends with Leadership Teams
- Utilize continuous improvement tools for resolution and adherence
JOB PROFILE
Education:
- High school diploma
- Higher education preferred
Required Experience:
- 2-3 years’ work experience in a logistics or manufacturing operation
- 2 years project experience
- 2 years’ experience with quality control programs
Technical Skills/Abilities:
- Intermediate to Expert level in Microsoft programs (Excel a must-must be demonstrated during interview)
- Must be able to professionally complete presentations/summaries/reports – must be demonstrated during interview
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic analysis and identify solutions to resolve specific distribution and logistics needs
- Experience with continuous improvement tools
- Experience with quality metrics (cost, defects, returns, OEE, throughput, customer complaints, returns)
- Experience with change management
- Ability to operate different types of technology
- SAP knowledge
Personal Skills:
- Fluent with proper English communication: verbal and written (must know how to write and speak professionally and grammatically correct)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to communicate personally and publicly
- Comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization
- Team player attitude with the ability to influence
- Highly organized
- Detail –oriented
- Independently manage tasks/projects within the operation with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
