Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect product, either green or fired, using basic measuring equipment such as micrometer, caliper, drop gauge, etc. to determine if product meets quality/ customer specifications
- Visually inspects product per departmental procedures using simple inspection tools such as dye check, go/no go gauges, and microscopes.
- Isolate non-conforming product per procedures and refer to appropriate person for disposition of product (re-work or scrap) when needed
- Document inspection results via logs and reports, input into appropriate computer database
- Stack and transport product via hand-truck, pallet jacks, forklift, crane, or hoist
- Clean work area, machines, tools and equipment
- Wears required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors

- High School Diploma or equivalent

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
- Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and computer skills
- Ability to identify bad product from good
- Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening skills
- Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
