Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include but are not limited to;
- Compliance with all Safety policies and procedures
- Compliance with all Handbook policies and procedures
- Comprehension and application of Quality Standards and SSTG (seat specific training guides)
- Sensory inspection and audit of products
- Comprehension and application of measuring devices (torque wrenches and steel rulers).
- Immediate verbal communication of issues with team leads
- Daily reports – completion is accurate, timely, legible
- Non-conforming material is identified, documented, and segregated within their assigned area on a daily basis.
- 5S (Maintaining cleanliness and organization of assigned area)
- Understand and follow Tri-Con’s ISO9000 and ISO14000 Documented Procedures
- Cap-Do completion as assigned
- Comprehension and support of Department Business plan and Key metric target achievement
- Other tasks may be assigned
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Depending on which area they will be working in, the physical and other requirements will be;
- Must be able to work in a mentally and physically fast paced environment.
- Physically they will be standing and lifting/maneuvering 40 lbs continually during the work day.
- Ergonomics required are: Hand/ Arm (reach, grip, and pinch) Body (bending, rotating, and twisting)
- Must have attention for detail.
- Communication skills required are verbal, written, and demonstration skills.
- General math skills required (English/Metric): addition, subtraction, measurement devices (general numbers, counting, and Time)
- Education: must have high school diploma or equivalent.
