Summary: Coordinate activities related to ISO documents, government contracts such as WAWF, internal audits, Gage Calibration System and procedures related to quality assurance as part of the Quality Management System by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain quality management system documentation for Sea-Fire Marine and Sea-Fire Europe.*
  • Write and revise procedures as they pertain to the Quality Management System and the quality manual for Sea-Fire Marine and Sea-Fire Europe.*
  • Coordinate assignments for the Management Review Meetings and review them with managers to prepare them for participation in the meeting. Type up management review minutes as required by the Quality Management System.*
  • Maintain the internal audit schedule and assist in the planning phase and execution on assigned scheduled audits.*
  • Audit the processes for adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls which includes reviewing documents, records and procedures and makes recommendations for corrective and preventive action requests.*
  • Complete and distribute internal audit reports.*
  • Maintain government contract overview sheet on all government orders.*
  • Assist Customer Support in creating work orders against contracts and prepare TCN requests for portable production against each Govt Contract.*
  • Complete the WAWF system for example the DD250 Receiving Report on government orders.*
  • Maintain master calibration list and pull tools due for calibration each month; also maintain individual tools files as to calibration status.*
  • Perform first piece inspections against process control plans as used in the production area and perform first piece inspection on final assemble and packing area daily; also maintain the daily builders inspection log.*
  • Create and maintain required Department of Transportation inspection reports as required for welded cylinders for Govt Contracts.*
  • Scan and maintain record system for certifications for all purchased cylinders.*
  • Create Certificates of Conformity and Declarations of Conformity as applicable.
  • Participate in Company meetings as they relate to GOVT Contracts and/or QAR visits.
  • Instruct employees in QMS documents and their usage.
  • Participate in Vendor visits for QMS and GOVT compliance to contract requirements.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
