Job Overview: The Spartanburg operation is a state-of-the-art coffee roasting and pod packaging facility in addition to hosting a full beverage distribution center. Spartanburg is the largest KDRP manufacturing and distribution location. The site will operate on the foundational principles of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance); leverage the principles of Lean manufacturing and harness the power of High-Performance Teams. All associates at the Spartanburg site will have accountability to a functional business unit in addition to the full site operation. The site will run on state-of-the-art enterprise IT and manufacturing execution systems with highly automated processing, packaging, and material movement equipment.

SUMMARY:
As a Quality Assurance Technician/ Analyst, you will work within an operations crew and will provide analytical problem solving and quality assurance support. You will be responsible for performing testing in response to manufacturing non-conformances and failure mode identification. In this role, you will the TPM Quality Maintenance process collaborating with operations to update QA matrices and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEAs) when dictated by the process performance. This role also involves hands-on tasks that will require you troubleshoot quality issues with operations, monitor the performance of critical machine characteristics, follow a control plan, and escalate issues to leaders in operations, maintenance, quality and safety. Working within a highly automated TPM-based environment, the QA Technician will be expected to follow standard work, perform process audits, and participate in structured problem solving to remove defects. You will be looked upon to collect, interpret and analyze machine and quality data, make decisions on product quality, accurately maintain the Quality Hold area, inspect and disposition non-conforming product, and guide the work of less experienced persons within your group.
