Position Description: At a Glance
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join the Finelite team located in Union City, CA. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the activities of the Quality Assurance Department to assure they support quality objectives. Develop and maintain the Plant Quality Management System to assure compliance with ISO certification. Analyze quality data feedback from customers and manufacturing to assure product quality integrity is maintained by the plant. Lead and support team on strong root cause analysis and effective Corrective Action process avoiding issue reoccurrence. Interface with New Product Development on new projects targeted for the Anaheim facility. Perform and complete Suppliers and Customer audits with full availability to travel. Work with suppliers on quality related issues. Assure direct hourly Quality Assurance personnel are properly trained to carry out the Quality Assurance duties on the shop floor. Develop timely and analytical Quality Assurance reviews and presentation to upper management. Also, it will require to work closely with other Data, Power, and Control manufacturing plants as needed for stock or product transfer.

Qualifications: Required Skills
Responsible for development and implementation of activities that support sheet metal plant/corporate quality objectives. Perform Quality Assurance risk, implement Corrective Actions and Process Control Plan. Develop policy and procedures to support business.
Education: BS In Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
Experience: 5-10 years’ experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment. CQE is a plus.
