No. 9 of top global tire manufacture’s USA office in Walnut, CA is seeking a full time Purchasing Assistant / Import Coordinator to help with daily operations
-Job Description:
- Preparing shipping documents for customs clearance and ISF filing.
- Placing purchase / sales orders, updating inventory and prices.
- Monitoring order status by coordinating with overseas team and freight forwarder to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and assist with all aspects of shipping.
- Customer service: communicate with vendors / clients / sales reps for order processing and questions.
- Assist with special events with the back end administrative duties. Other duties as assigned
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs box.
-Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficient in Windows, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Strong grammar, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of independence
- Ability to multitasks
- Experience with logistics / importing procedure.
- Legal working status in the US, no OPT, No sponsorship.
-Experience: Minimum of 1 year related experience or training
-Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, some college education is preferred
