JOB DESCRIPTION

The University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine seeks candidates for a full-time faculty position to join a growing academic practice with a Fellowship Program. The University of Florida Department of Medicine in Jacksonville offers a three-year, ACGME-accredited Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program which aims to facilitate the development of important skills in the effective practice of pulmonary and critical care medicine. Responsibilities include teaching, patient care and research. Candidate must be BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and/or Sleep Medicine. Appointment will be at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, based on qualifications.

The University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is the largest of the three UF colleges - medicine, nursing and pharmacy - located on the approximately 110-acre UF Health Jacksonville campus. The college's 17 clinical science departments house more than 400 faculty members and 360 residents and fellows. The college offers 34 accredited graduate medical education programs. In addition to graduate medical education, clinical rotations in all the major disciplines are provided for students from the UF College of Medicine in Gainesville.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must be BC/BE in Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine and/or Sleep Medicine .Candidate must be DO/MD and also be able to obtain a Florida Medical License.
