Job Title: Security Officer - Desk Post
Location: Riverhead, NY
Environment: Medical Facility
Pay Rate: $16 hourly

Shift & Hours: Full Time & Part Time Overnights

• Sunday, Monday 11pm-7am
• Sunday - Thursday 12am-8am
• Friday, Saturday 12am-8am

General Info: Foot Patrol, Experience in a Hospital or Medical Facility Preferred. Ability to lift 20lbs. Enforce rules of the facility to ensure safety of visitors and staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond in a timely fashion to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Ability to deescalate potential conflicts
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• Maintain security presence to enforce a safe environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• At least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
• At least 21 years of age or older to drive a company vehicle
• Drivers License w/ clean Motor Vehicle Record preferred not required
• Must be willing to obtain CPR Certification within one month of employment.
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Experience in the Medical Field Preferred, but not required
• Receptionist or Administrative Assistant experience preferred but not required.

General Qualifications to work in physical security at GardaWorld include:

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Pass an extensive screening process
